1. Information We Collect

Stepzy is designed with privacy in mind. We collect only the information necessary to provide the App’s core features.

1.1 Health Data (via Apple HealthKit)

With your permission, Stepzy may read the following data from Apple Health:

    • Steps

    • Walking + running distance

    • Workouts

    • Heart rate

    • Activity metrics (e.g., active energy, exercise minutes)

We do not write any data to HealthKit. We do not share, sell, or transfer HealthKit data to third parties.

Health data is used only to display insights inside the App and is never stored on our servers.

1.2 App Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage information to improve app performance and understand feature usage. This may include:

    • App version

    • Device type

    • Crash logs

    • Anonymous analytics (if enabled)

This data does not include personal identifiers.

1.3 Subscription & Purchase Information

When you purchase Stepzy Pro, Apple provides us with:

    • A unique, anonymous user identifier

    • Subscription status (active, expired, trial)

    • Transaction history related to Stepzy only

We do not receive your name, email, payment details, or Apple ID.

All billing is handled by Apple.

1.4 Discord Community Access

If you join the Stepzy Discord community, Discord may collect additional information according to their own Privacy Policy. Stepzy does not receive or store your Discord data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to provide and improve Stepzy’s features.

We use data to:

  • Display your steps, workouts, and activity insights

  • Calculate effort scores and trends

  • Unlock Stepzy Pro features

  • Provide early access features

  • Improve app performance and stability

  • Communicate important updates or changes

We do not use your data for advertising or tracking.

3. How We Protect Your Data

We take privacy seriously and use industry‑standard measures to protect your information.

  • Health data stays on your device

  • No HealthKit data is stored on our servers

  • No HealthKit data is shared with third parties

  • All communication with our servers uses encrypted HTTPS

  • Subscription data is stored securely by RevenueCat (our billing provider)

4. Third‑Party Services

Stepzy uses trusted third‑party services to operate the App:

4.1 Apple HealthKit

Used to read your health and activity data with your permission.

4.2 RevenueCat

Used to manage subscriptions and entitlements. RevenueCat does not access HealthKit data.

4.3 Discord (optional)

Used only if you join the Stepzy community. Discord’s own privacy policy applies.

We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

5. Your Choices & Controls

You have full control over your data.

You can:

    • Revoke Health permissions at any time

    • Delete the App to remove all locally stored data

    • Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

    • Disable analytics in your device settings (if applicable)

6. Children’s Privacy

Stepzy is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” above will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated policy.
